After completing our apprenticeship under the guidance of a traditional building company, the company was formed in 1982 trading in decorating and general building, we expanded into hand painting and faux finishes. Gathering experience at every opportunity and extending our customer base and of course making, but learning from, a few mistakes along the way.

We started being approached to carry out larger projects, incorporating complex aspects of building that required planning and coordinating related trades. Soon the  company moved on to listed building work, consent and liasing with English Heritage. With the decoration aspect of the company growing and demands from the building work increasing the company incorporated in 1996.

In 1996 we were also recommended to Dulux ICI by their senior colour consultant who had seen and been impressed by, our work and we became one of the first members of a warranty backed trade organization called Dulux Select.  Our membership of the Federation of Master Builders was soon to follow. From there we moved into working with many interior design houses and furniture manufacturers, further extending the exciting and varied path we have followed.

In the past 2 years from we have completed a major repair of a house that suffered from extensive fire damage to the roof (and 1000 gallons of water from the fire brigade), a total refurbishment to a period property and a redecoration to a grade 2 listed country house lasting 10 months.

We have gained considerable experienced and have expanded over the years.  But we continue to embrace the experience and challenges in this business - where the unforeseen demands instant solutions.
